Topic of Assignment: How does an e-commerce firm work?

Expectations: First choose any existing e-commerce company and submit a 500-600 word write-up in .docx or .pdf format covering topics like what the company is offering, how the customers find the presence of the company, whether the company is thriving or not, if yes, what do you think are the x-factors (with statistical or academic evidence) that are responsible for the fact that the company is thriving, who are the probable competitors and whether the company is enjoying a position of competitive advantage or not, etc. However, if you want to add any other distinguishing aspect of the company that you have chosen, you are welcome!
