Topic Selection

For this unit, you will need to select a topic. While you may select your own organization/department, keep in mind that this is graduate level work and, as such, does need to be scholarly in nature. Consider yourself examining the training program as a 3rd party outsider without prior knowledge of the system.

Examples of project topics might be:

• Driver Safety Training for a Delivery Service.
• Training for the HR Department of a local grocery chain on an HRIS system.
• Diversity training for a police department.
• HAZMAT training for the galley crew on board a Navy ship.

Part A

Conduct an analysis on the current state of the training program and address the current training needs analysis process.Reference should be made to Institution, task, and person analysis. Analysis should reference sources of information for analysis, methods, and challenges encountered.
