Question:
Treasure Valley National Bank is investigating their accounts, hoping to predict account balances from other characteristics. They have collect data from 60 random accounts. Using the account balance as the dependent variable, and independent variables: number of ATM transactions, number of other banking services used, whether the customer has a debit card, whether the account receives interest, and the city where banking is done, determine which independent variables seem related to the account balance. Also determine how well the independent variables explain variation in account balances. Should all independent variables be used in the analysis or can some of them be dropped (if so, which ones?)
