Question: Tributary Area Practice Problem Shown is a Floor Framing with two major zones. ZONE B C - 1 3 the secondary beams ( S 2

Tributary Area Practice Problem
Shown is a Floor Framing with two major zones. ZONE BC-13 the secondary beams ( S 2) are spaced at 12-ft oncenter with a span of 18-ft and thus needing a thicker slab which leads to a higher dead load totaling 120 psf (slab weight plus other dead loads such as ceiling, floor finishes, mechanical devices etc etc), ZONE AB_13 the secondary beams ( S 1) are spaced at 6-ft On -center with a span of 20-ft. The dead load for this zone is 75 psf . For both zones the live load is 40-psf. There are a total of 5 Girders (Beams that carry other beams). Girder G6 is supported by girders G2 and G3. There are Columns at A1, A3, B1, B3, C1 and C3. There are NO Columns at A2, B2 and C3.. Assume that if the slab spans Ratio L1/L22 it is a TWO-WAY SLAB (L1>L2), OTHERWISE assume ONE-WAY SLAB.
Based on this information Determine the loads acting on the secondary beams, All the girders and all the columns, NEGLECTING THE SELF WEIGHTS OF THE BEAMS AND GIRDERS
