INSTRUCTIONS AND INFORMATION

The Project covers the following Unit Standards:$11335$ SO$1,$ AC$3,$ SO$2$; AC$1$; SO$5,$ AC$1\mathrm{.}3,11337$ SO$2$; AC$2,$ SO$4$; AC$312541$ SO$3$; AC$2.$

You must complete the task on your own.

You have TWO weeks to complete the project. The first week is for gathering information and the second week is for completing and submitting the task.

You need the following to do the task

An A$3$ page to create a poster of your own town$/$city$/$village$.$

A picture that is pasted or drawn of the map of your area.

Two pictures of must$-$see attractions$/$

events.in your area.

Code of conduct at the attraction $($Do$\text{'}$s and don'ts$).$

A picture that is pasted or drawn of a souvenir that will remind tourists about your town$/$city$/$ village.

Students can obtain information and pictures from the following sources: books, magazines, brochures, newspapers, library, internet, and tourism offices.

Use the numbering system that is used in the task.

ACTIVITY $3-$ PROJECT $-$ DESIGNING A POSTER

$3\mathrm{.}3$ Paste or draw the outlay of a map of your area and indicate it with a dot.

$3\mathrm{.}4$ Paste pictures of any TWO must$-$see attractions in your local community or surroundings area and write their names underneath.

$3\mathrm{.}5$ Cut and paste or draw a picture of an activity that tourists can take part in$,$ when they visit in your community and write the name of the activity.

$3\mathrm{.}6$ Develop a code of conduct for tourists visiting the attraction by stating THREE rules that tourists must do or not do$.$
