Two questions I, as a project manager, could pose to a functional manager are:

Skill Alignment: "How closely do the proposed resources' skill sets match the specific requirements of the tasks they will be assigned? Can you provide examples of their past experiences or certifications that demonstrate their suitability?"

Availability and Commitment: "Given the resource's current workload and other commitments, how can we ensure their availability and full commitment to the project? Are there any potential conflicts or limitations that could impact their ability to contribute effectively?"
