Two-Variable Analysis Task

In this assignment, you will be investigating data on a topic that interests you. Using techniques and ideas discussed in class, you will determine the strength of the relationship between the two variables you have chosen to observe.

1. An introduction to your topic
2. What type of data you acquired (primary or secondary) and how you gathered your data
3. Your data organized in a table of values
4. A scatter plot of your data with and without a line of best fit. You may use software (such as Desmos) for this.
5. Linear correlation value and the equation of the line of best fit.
6. Is there a cause and effect relationship?
7. Discussion about any outlier points.
