A significant, prominent leader in society.
TASK: Choose a person (leader) who has made a significant contribution to society. This leader could be in politics, medicine, science, academia, business, sports, etc. You will research this leader and create an IGNITE presentation to present in front of your peers.
Leader sign up will be on a first-come-first-serve basis. It may be the same person you did your book report on (if no one else has taken the name first). Each student must do a different leader. This is an individual assignment.
Product: This assignment has 2 main parts:

Written script
The presentation requirements:
As close of possible, use the IGNITE format.
20 slide x 15 seconds/slide.(plus or minus 4 slides)
NOTE: The entire presentation must be maximum of 24 slides and maximum of 6 minutes. See rubric.
Use pictures and or charts. Words are for titles or quotes or charts only. Words are reserved for your script.
Make sure all images are large. Remember, do not clutter your page with images. Suggested number of slides is beside each topic below.
For your presentation, upload your slideshow to Google Classroom on or before the due date. Your rubric includes marks for handing your presentation in on time.
During your presentation, DO NOT read your script to the class. Talk to the class. This is a presentation, not a reading assignment. You will be marked on your content and delivery.

1. Picture of Leader, Name and Company (if applicable)(1 slide)
Include your name as presenter on the first slide. Why you chose this person.
2. Early history to where they are now in life. Include interesting facts, activities, extracurricular involvement, or life events which would have contributed to their maturity or development of key characteristics or skills. Pictures of leaders life as he/she matures. For example: child, teen, young adult, throughout career, now/then.(4 slides)
3. Leadership Traits and Behaviours: What are three of your leaders most dominant leadership traits and behaviours? How were they developed? Use actual examples/stories from their life experience. (3 slides)
4. Leadership style: Transactional or a transformational leader? Provide a story from your leaders life which will prove your decision. (1-2 slides)
5. Theories: Place the following two models on one slide. Place a star in the correct spot describing your leader. You may copy and paste these charts off D2L classroom. (1-2 slides)
