UAHT expanded over the last several years, by adding a new building for our concurrent students. Before this was even possible to do there were several factors that went into making this decision. One factor that had to be considered was the number of students who would be taking classes while still in high school. If the number of students was not going to sustain then the growth was not going to be there, which meant that it is not feasible for the new building. Another idea came into play when it was suggested that adding a Secondary Career Center which meant that students could take classes such as welding, CNA, etc while in high school along with the concurrent classes that it would be possible to do so and the number of students would sustain in the new building. After many meetings, it was decided that UAHT would expand using the NPV. This was a wise investment for the college to move forward, we have seen many young students who are still in high school take advantage of these classes.
