NEED HELP REPRESENTING THIS DATA IN AN EXCEL SPREADSHEET I have scaled the geological age of the earth to equal the length of the golden gate bridge. Golden Gate Bridge - 8981 Feet Age of the earth - 4.5 billion years | I have scaled the following dates to the total age of earth. Modern humans - 200 thousand years ago at 99.9% of total age of earth Extinction of most dinosaurs - 65 million years ago = at 98.6% of total age of earth Primate diversification - 85 million years ago = at 98.2% of total age of earth Start of the Appalachian Orogeny - 480 million years ago = at 89.4% of total age of earth First vertebrates - 525 million years ago - at 88.4% of the total age of earth Oldest fossil cells 3.48 billion years ago = at 22.7% of the total age of earth Oldest rocks on Earth - 4.28 billion years ago = at 6.2% of the total age of earth. I need this to be represented on a scale of 8981 feet. So, for example I would show the oldest rocks on earth at the 6.2% point of 8981 feet etc. These are the directions given for my spreadsheet: You are to use your own scalar and implement all the calculations in MS Excel (label everything well and show your calculation setup somewhere). You should have well-labeled input cells for the age of the Earth, your scalar (time or distance), and all of the dates given below. I have no clue how to make this into an equation and enter into excel pls help!!!!
