Mini case: Assuming you and $3$ other students formed a group for a course project. Since it is not easy to always meet in person, your team decides to meet virtually with the help of a website$/$app which you choose. Note: Ch$2-6$ helps.

Q$0.$ Please state the name of the website$/$app your team choose. Please briefly describe the functions of this chosen website.

Q$1,$ Please break one virtual group meeting into $10-15$ smaller Information System $($IS$)$ related business processes. For each smaller business process, please identify and describe the four components of that business process. Note: You can either draw a graph or use point form or text. Any format will do as long as the contents of your analysis are correct.

Q$2.$ At each of these smaller business processes, if an IS is used, please identify its components of that IS: IT $($hardware$,$ software, networks, and database$),$ people, and business process. Note: please be specific, accurate, and concise with your answers.

Q$3.$ At each of these smaller business process, please identify how that IS is used to improve the business process $($i$.$e$.$ Is this IS being used to automate, inform, or transform the business process?$),$ and please justify your answer.

Acquiring an Information Systems

Please recall how your group choose the website$/$app for your virtual group meetings. Please use the SDLC framework in Ch$10$ to link your practice to the theoretical framework and answer the following questions.

Q$5.$ Following the SDLC $($system development life cycle$)$ in Ch$10,$ how did your group do system definition, requirements analysis, component design implementation phases, and implementation? Please identify at least $3$ alternative information systems which may satisfy your group$$s need. Explain the pros and cons for each alternative information systems, choose one information system, and explain why. How did your group acquire this app: buy, lease, develop in house, or outsourcing? Why?
