Unit 3 - Case Study In March 2020, college students across the country found themselves switching to online learning as a precaution to the Covid-19 Pandemic. Some students were not prepared for the many difficulties that online learning would bring. Students became stressed and overwhelmed. This led Psychologists from a university in southeast Texas to measure stress from a sample of university students and a second example of community college students. Stress was measured using the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS; Cohen 1994). Scores on the PSS scale range from 0 - 40 in which higher scores indicate increased levels of stressed.
