Using your favorite web browser, search the internet for a police department’s de-escalation policy. A police department’s de-escalation policy is often listed in the police manual or training manual. Develop a PowerPoint presentation that includes one or more slides for each of the following topics concerning the department’s de-escalation policy: de-escalation policy’s openness and transparency, de-escalation tactics and techniques, team tactics, communication, training, and avoiding re-escalation. Your PowerPoint presentation should be a minimum of eight slides in length, including the title and reference slides.
