Upon joining a newly set-up company based in Malaysia, your have been assigned to lead a team to purchase an aircraft where you are required to fulfill mandatory requirements as required by the authority before the aircraft can be put into operation. In order to fulfill the objective, you are required to study all legislative requirements imposed by the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) and applicable laws/regulations as required. a) Aircraft registration process. Describe the aircraft specifications, i.e., Boeing 737-800 9 (Large Aircraft for Commercial aviation) or Cessna Citation (private jet for General Aviation) b) Air Operator Certificate (AOC) and necessary ASL/ASP (to be decided) application process. c) Aircraft operation - including flight and cabin crew arrangement. d) Maintenance of aircraft to ensure airworthiness. e) Airport operation arrangement. You are required to write a report on the processes and procedures involved: 1) Specify reference as applicable i.e., laws/regulations including applicable Directives, circulars, information and. a) necessary form(s) to be filled appropriately (submitted as parts of the assignment) b) fees payable, etc. as required by the authority. 2) Include necessary photos and diagrams for reference and understanding. 3) Do not copy and paste from the existing text (Laws/regulations/ directives/ information).
