Question: Urgent solution required don't use method previous used In a steam turbine, steam enters at 8 MPa, 5 5 0 C , and 5 0

Urgent solution required don't use method previous used
In a steam turbine, steam enters at 8MPa,550C, and 50ms and leaves at 20 kPa and 90
ms with a moisture content of 10%. The turbine is not adequately insulated, and it is estimated
that the heat is lost from the turbine of 180 kW . The power output of the turbine is 4.25 MW .
Assuming surroundings to be 100 kPa and 25C, determine:
i. the reversible power output of the turbine (unit: MW),
ii. the exergy destroyed within the turbine (unit: MW),
iii. the second law efficiency (unit: %), and
iv. the possible increase in the power output of the turbine if the turbine were perfectly
insulated (unit: kW ).
