Below is a sequence of process steps at McDonalds
McDonaldsProcess:
1. Customer will drive up to the speaker within 3 to 5 seconds they are to be greeted.
2. The customer will be greeted by either inside lane order taker or the outside order taker
3. After the customer is done with their order. The order taker will repeat their order to make sure it is correct, give them the total and have them pull to the first window for payment.
4. The back booth person will once again repeat the order (to make sure it is the correct car and the correct order)
5. They will ask for the payment and give them their receipt and change or card back and be asked to pull to the next window. This should take around 10 to 20 seconds to do payment.
6. Once the order is taken it pops up on the monitors in the grill area. Side one is the busiest and then side two helps out.
7. The order pops up the initiator will get the proper bun off the package on the bun rack, place the bun into the bun toaster.
8. While the bun is toasting, they get the properwrapperor box for that sandwich on the table.
9. If a quarter pounder sandwich is ordered the quarter patty is placed down onto the grill to cook for 68 seconds, this product is fresh not frozen (cook to order).
10. Once the bun comes through the toaster it is placed on the wrapper and it begins with the condiments.
11. Slides to the next table where the assembler is to assemble the sandwich, after completed it is wrapped up or placed in the box and closed.
12. The finished product is slid down into the warmer to be picked up.
13. While the customer is at the second window they are given their drinks, desserts.
14. The runner is placing the sandwiches into the proper bag with the right number of napkins.
15. The fry person is filling the bags and boxes the correct size and making sure they are hot and full, they are also responsible for filling the fry hopper with frozen fries.
16. The runner gets the friesplacing them into the bag and sets the bag onto the table for delivery.
17. Drive thruperson is to check to make sure everything is inside the bag and then hands it to the customer, if the order is not ready they are to ask the customer to pull ahead and it will be ran out as soon as it is ready.
18. If the order needs to be ran outside the front counter runner person will be instructed to where that certain car is parked.
19. Now with delivery service like doordash, the order will pop up on the front counter screen and they will assemble everything into the proper bag and seal it with the number slip on the outside of the bag. These bags are sealed with three stickers. The bag waits til they arrive.
20. Cleaning the areas is also important due to messes and spills and are to be done as they go.
