My example of Respondent Conditioning I have a black lab who constantly gets off the leash and takes himself for a walk. My dog likes to go explore. The only way to get him home is to get in the car, find him and open the door, then he jumps in. I have gotten to the point when he gets off the leash, I open the car door and tell him lets go for a ride, and he gets in. No more chasing. I did not know this was a part of respondent conditioning.
