Use the ClassRing Additions worksheet to complete the following additional steps:

a. Enter a formula in cell C16 to calculate the cost of a silver ring with the additional surcharge for personalization. (The silver ring would add $20, so the personalized cost would be $420. Make your formula flexible and fill it down through cell C19.

b. Enter a formula in cell D16 to calculate the costs of personalizing the ring and adding a second sports or activity icon (band, basketball, hockey, gymnastics, theater, etc.). The original cost of the ring includes adding one activity icon to the side of the ring. If a student wants to add a second icon, it costs an extra $100 dollars in addition to the personalization cost. For the silver ring to be personalized with a dual icon, the total cost would be $520. Make your formula flexible and fill it down through cell D19.

c. Add a new formula to cell E5 that will use a function to LOOK UP the appropriate price for Dodson using the ring type, whether or not it is personalized, and whether or not there is a second activity icon added to the ring. You will need to nest another function with the lookup up function! Make your formula flexible and fill it down through cell E12.

d. Calculate the monthly payment in cell G5 using the cost in E5 as the amount to finance. Make your formula flexible and fill it down through cell G11.

e. Add the formulas for totals as indicated in row 12.
