This week we are discussing conception to birth. As an embryo/fetus grows in the womb there are man factors that can influence different areas of growth. This discussion board will focus on this type of growth. First we need to understand that growth occurs in three domains. Second we want to discuss how environmental factors (in this case teratogens) can impact that growth.

Within your response, include the following: 1. Define the three domains; physical, cognitive, emotional and social (proper in-text and reference listing). Link for definitions is listed in the Required Reading and Resources Module. 2. Define teratogens (proper in-text and reference listing). Pick 2 teratogens and then explain how each teratogen impacts the fetus through all three domains and over the entire fetus' lifespan. 3.
