Use this text to answer the subsequent questions. A Grapefruit Minor Leagues Teams baseball stadium has a ticket scanner working at each of its two stations: A and B. The two scanners work independently. The stadium management is trying to determine if they need to open up another ticket scanning station to admit fans for entrance.

Fans arrive randomly at either station. During a recent observation period, the following interarrival times were recorded (in seconds):

Station A: 2, 5, 9, 7, 3, 10, 15, 4, 8

Station B: 7, 5, 8, 4, 9, 11, 6, 2, 12

During the same observation period, the following processing times for the two scanners were recorded as well (in seconds):

Station A: 5, 3, 4, 8, 2, 9, 7, 10, 1, 6

Station B: 9, 4, 7, 1, 8, 8, 5, 10, 6, 3

The stadium management wants to know how many fans, on average, are waiting in Stations A and B.

They decided that if, on average, the number of fans waiting in either queue is more than 5, then they would need to open another ticket scanning station. Will the management need another station? Keep in mind that there are two independent queues here (Stations A & B), each having one processor (i.e. c = 1), whereas in the example in the lecture, there was one queue (line) but multiple processors.

NOTE: Round each and every calculation to 3 decimal places: x.nnn

6) What is Station B's throughput for the interarrivals, Ri and processing, Rp ? (Note: Round your calculations to three decimal places: x.nnn)
