Question: Use Wolfram Mathematica Task 1 Plot the theta,v , u _ ( 2 ) , u _ ( 4 ) , and u _ (

Use Wolfram Mathematica
Task 1
Plot the theta,v,u_(2),u_(4), and u_(5) trim curves for the nonlinear RCAM model (9 core equations) in a straight &
level flight at sea level 1) with both engines working, 2) with the left engine turned off, 3) with the right engine
turned off. Combine all the curves for the same parameter in one plot: for example, the v plot must have 3 curves
corresponding to the above 3 cases. Consider the same speeds as in W13_L2.
Hint 1. You might want to remove the v=0 item from the trim constraints for the engine failure
simulations.
Hint 2. Use the options PlotStyle and PlotLegends for the Plot function to distinguish and label the curves.
Task 2
Compute and plot the eigenvalues of the state Jacobian only for the case when the left engine is turned
off, for the same speeds as in Task 1. Comment on the plot(s) and explain how the eigenvalues evolve and how
they influence the five fundamental flight modes.
Hint. Play around with the options/functions/numbers the course instructor uses to highlight different
modes in his eigenvalue plots. Understand how these options/functions/numbers work and adapt them for
your plots.
