Use your networking knowledge along with valid resources to write a paper intended to convince the owners of a small up and coming company they need to update their IT equipment because of increased Internet use. Choose a company that you are familiar with or use the scenario provided in the Project Resources page as your guide. Focus on Internet threats and the Internet protocol stack in your paper Offer the owners support for your arguments and reasons based on the textbook and Internet resources. Use examples of common network activities and threats that employees and other people could do or make, intentionally or unintentionally, that may cause harm to the network without the owners knowledge (e.g., a user downloading destructive content, etc.).

For the up and coming small business, you will be proposing equipment and network design for both projects. You are welcome to make up a company up or use one already known to you. Optionally, you may use the following imaginary company scenario for your projects proposals:

The A-Z Widget company that manufactures widgets is privately owned by two partners. The product is popular regionally and is gaining recognition nationally. There are currently five employees in addition to the partners. There are plans to expand production and to add more than 30 employees over the next 18 months.
