Use your wire loop and magnet and IOLab to repeat the experiment shown above. Looking at your data qualitatively (or using our data if you don't have your own), answer the following questions: How does the sign of the induced emf depend on the direction (up or down) that the magnet is moving ? Try to think of some ways that you can reverse the sign of this. In other words, if you get a positive bump when you lift the magnet and a negative bump when you put it back down (as in our data ), try to think of ways that could you change your experimental setup so that you get a negative bump when you lift the magnet and a positive bump when you put it back down ? Try your ideas if you can
