Using any real life case data : (1) descriptive, (2) predictive and (3) prescriptive tools for improving decision-making processes. you are expected to perform at least two of these approaches to real-world data. In particular, you are expected to: - Define and discuss the source of your data. - Implement data sampling, data preparation/cleansing and descriptive statistics (measure of location and variability, distribution properties, measures of association between variables) to better understand the data. - Apply MS Excel tools to develop meaningful tables, charts, plots, etc. - Depending on the context and your data type implement Descriptive and/or Predictive Data Mining tools and techniques and construct your model (classification or estimation). Use appropriate data partitioning approaches where necessary for training, validating and testing your model. - Implement prescriptive analytics to assist planners in making decisions related to your data and problem.
