Using Excel, could you help so I can understand the POS system and do the following:
Create a new excel sheet and name it 'POS'. You
may use excel functions like 'unique()', 'lookup()'
'lookup()', 'sum( )', 'countif( )', 'if( )', 'round( )' etc.
You may get as creative as you want but your excel sheet must at least have the following columns:
-Needs to have a column to scan the barcode for all the products that are sold in the inventory list.
-Needs to have another column that indicates the name, quantity sold, sales price for all the products sold after scanning the barcode.
-Needs to also have a column that indicate the total sales cost, tax amount, and total amount of the items from the inventory list after scanning the barcode.
-Lastly, it needs to have a column to indicate card and cash payments. This column needs to be able to do both to where they are able to split payments. [Sale cannot be completed if the remaining balance is greater than 0.1]
**The excel sheet should update automatically as new entries are given.**
(You can either do an excel file or a text format, whatever is better)
The columns do not have to be in a specific form or view but as long as the new sheet is all connected and it consist of the information from above for each column. What I mean by connected is if you change the quantity or price of something then it should automatically update on the POS sheet.
