using HTML in a simple text document, create the following table rows and columns together using colspan and rowspan th,td,etc.

The main question I have is with the top row, it appears to span over 3 column spaces, and 2 row spaces but I dont know how to have both of those commands on one line without messing up the rest of the layout or without adding unwanted spaces in the table.
