Using LogiSim do the following:

1. Design a 8-bit Adder/Subtractor

2. Draw its schematic diagram (concept)

3. Design the logic circuit

4. Simulate the circuit

5. Test it & screen shot your results

6. Email me a word document containing (2-5)

7. Email me the .circ file

Requirements and hints

1) Must have a selector/control line (1-bit wide) to control add or sub operation.

2) Use 1-bit full adders as a black box component then import it and use it as many times as required.

3) Must save each result in a (8x8) RAM component using a 3-bit address

4) RAM demo will be given in class.

5) Important note: you need a clock line for RAM trigger instead of manually toggling the enable/disable state MUST have simulate & ticks enabled.
