The iCARE clinic in Dubai is looking to have an Appointment Booking System, intended to help patients automatically book an appointment through clinic website.

The below text will explain for you the role of each external entity with the system:

• Patient opens the website looking for an appointment, then a two way relationship between system and patient to: select doctor specialty, select a doctor, a date and then time to book the appointment. the patient will start filling a form by including his personal and medical information. The system will confirm the appointment for the patient by providing a reservation number into his contact details. The patient
• The doctor assistant will receive from the system the appointment details. If appointment amendment is required, the assistant will reschedule the appointment on the system and approval will be requested from the patient and sent through his contact details. the patient might receive a request to change the appointment and he might accept the change or cancel the appointment.
• If the doctors assistant requires any change of appointment due to sudden change with the doctor, the assistant will reschedule the appointment on the system and wait the answer of the patient.
• On the day of the appointment, the doctor can check the patient personal and medical information , and after the medical examination, the doctor will enter into the system medicines prescribed and details about the patients case.
