Using my example as a model present a similar binomial exercise for the class to try for practice. Be sure your example: Is a binomial situation (only TWO outcomes) Is a "pick two" scenario (i.e. picking two cards, picking two items from a hat/sack, etc) Asks the class to calculate two probabilities -- one with replacement and one without replacement. You can use a similar card problem as long as it is not picking two kings ~or~ you may be creative and original. Other ideas: selecting two pieces of candy from a candy bowl, selecting two blocks from a bag of blocks, selecting two toys from a box of toys. Keep things simple -- stick to a "pick two" scenario, similar to the example above - probability problems can get out of hand quickly! *** No minimum word count required.
