Question: Using the binomial probability formula, what is the probability that there is at least one failure? If n=10, p=0.45, and q=0.55. What is the best
Using the binomial probability formula, what is the probability that there is at least one failure?
If n=10, p=0.45, and q=0.55.
What is the best route for figuring this out? I was thinking calculate the question as if it said "at most 9 successes"? AKA the sum of the probabilities of successes from 1 to 9. Do I need to do 1-p for any of this?
Thank you!
