= = = Using the Breit-Wigner formula, compute and plot Oy in the vicinity of the first reso- nance in 238 U, which occurs at an energy of 6.67 eV. The parameters of this resonance are: In = 1.52 meV (meV = millielectron volts), Ty = 26 meV, and g = 1. [Note: For reasons given in Section 7.3 (see in particular Fig. 7.12), the values of oy computed from the Breit-Wigner formula do not coincide with those measured with targets at room temperature.]
