You will draft and submit a PowerPoint presentation that includes two (2) components. Component I: PowerPoint Presentation The Power Point presentation should be created as if you were going to make a presentation to your agency's Board of Directors or Executive Director. The goal of your PowerPoint presentation is to present a complete overview of an agency problem, the important players and forces within the agency, a solution, and a plan to get to that solution. The overall goal of the presentation is to convince someone with power that your proposed solution is a good idea, will result in subsequent implementation and affect positive change. For the PowerPoint Slides: Describe a problem in your agency that affects services to clients. For the purposes of this assignment, a problem is defined as an undesirable condition or state of affairs that negatively affects client services in the agency or community. Limit the problem you select to one you could have an impact on during one year (or two semesters) of work at the agency. Explain how the problem negatively affects services to clients; and provide data (numbers, examples, etc.) that describe how the problem negatively affects services to clients. Be sure that all of your observations are substantiated with examples, data, observations or illustrations. Identify the key players and stakeholders in your agency, including all of the people who are an important part of the agency. How (if at all) is the problem experienced by each group? Identify and describe the opposing actors, critical actors and facilitating actors. Specify the goal or possible goals of the planned agency change process The PowerPoint must include 8 -10 slides references. Component II: Force Field Analysis Include a slide in the PowerPoint of a Force Field Analysis of the problem Identify and describe in narrative the driving forces, restraining forces and working forces. Develop a diagram of the Force Field Analysis (the driving, restraining and working forces). Design a strategy of planned change using the force field analysis. Analyze how you could mobilize the various forces and actors to bring about a change that would accomplish the goal. How would you get from the current situation to the goal?
