Your proposal should identify:

The issue$/$problem you will address

The work you intend to perform

The individuals involved in the project

The types of data or information sources you will use

The SHRM competencies demonstrated in the project $($refer to the SHRM competency model in the SHRM body of applied skills and knowledge resource below$)$

If you will be conducting your project at your current place of employment, the proposal should include an approval letter from the organization stating that this project is outside of your normal work responsibilities.
