Using the linked article by Souter et al. (2003), promising results are presented for a new point-of-use water treatment technology for reducing pathogens and fecal indicator bacteria in water. Using the two pages of information provided in their publication in the good journal (Journal of Water and Health), what might a skeptic of their work try to use as an attack or insinuation about their research ethics (conflicts of interest) or challenge beyond their actual scientific methods used? *Keep in mind, it does not mean the attack or insinuation would have merit.
