Using the Real Estate tab on from the excel sheet provided here, complete the following activities: 1. Submit a statistical summary of the real estate price and sales across the 5 areas starting from Jan 2018 to Dec 2019 detailed in the sheet. 2. For each of the 5 areas submit a histogram of the prices from the period of Jan 2018 - Dec 2019. Compare the histogram across the 5 areas and provide 3 talking points about your results. 3. For the Fraser Valley area, which type of house (Single or Apartment) has shown the highest month over month growth from 2018 to 2019 in the number of active listings? 4. For the South Okanagan region, create 2 histograms for the ratio of new to current listings for both Single & Condo houses in the period of Jan 2018 - Dec 2019. Explain which of the two types of houses will apply more pressure on buyers in the housing market. 5. Using the data provided, provide a descriptive report of the housing prices across all 5 regions over the last 2 years. For example, some talking points that you can use Growth in the no of houses sold and listed across time and markets Over the 2 year period (2018..2019), are there any periods of time that stand out in terms of the metrics provided Are there periods of time during which the housing market went through a lull or had very high growth? ... Keep your descriptive report as listed in Q5 to between 300-350 words, and try to distill down the information into usable nuggets which will help with decision making. For Q5 please provide a pdf with your writeup. For Q1-Q4 please download a copy of the excel workbook and submit 1 excel workbook with each question answered on a separate sheet for the 1st 4 questions. And provide details of all calculations and formulas used in your respective sheets. For questions 1 & 2, use the price for Single type of houses only. For the submitted files the naming convention should be, Section_FirstName_LastName_DescriptiveReport.xls(x,m) & Section_FirstName_LastName_DescriptiveReportQ5.pdf.
