Using the Simulation Prompts (see attached) and your intake meeting notes from class on January 30, 2025, you will write a settlement demand letter on behalf of your firm's client.

You should prepare the settlement demand letter based on the Simulation Prompt used when you played the role of paralegal and drafted client intake meeting notes. If your client is Taylor Katz, the letter will be sent to ABC Company. If your client is Nancy Slipz, the letter will be sent to Mall of Fame, Inc.

Your settlement demand letter should include letterhead (p. 549 of textbook), date, recipient address block (p. 549 of textbook), reference line (p. 549 of textbook), salutation (p. 549 of textbook), body (p. 549 of textbook), closing (p. 551 of textbook), signature and title (p. 551 of textbook). The body should include the four elements of a demand letter identified in Exhibit 19-6 (p. 559 of Textbook). You can make up the name of the law firm and the lawyer sending the letter.

Your demand letter should not exceed two-pages.
