Using the surf and dive model evaluate the intent and patterns of interaction for The Net Zero simulation from Harvard was a truly eye$-$opening experience for me$.$ Witnessing the impact of different initiatives and their timing on a company was nothing short of enlightening. Through my three attempts, I gained a deeper understanding of the analysis process. Though I fell short of the $50\%$ goal during my first round, I was able to lower emissions and waste.

However, in my second attempt, I exceeded my expectations by achieving a $49\mathrm{.}5\%$ reduction while using only $95\%$ of the carbon budget. I was impressed with the results. For my third round, I changed locations and utilized the environment to my advantage, resulting in a $48\mathrm{.}8\%$ reduction while using $97\%$ of the carbon budget. Not only that, but sales and profits increased as well.

With each attempt, I made better decisions, and I$\text{'}$m confident that with continued effort and strategic changes, I will most certainly achieve the $50\%$ reduction goal by year $8.$ There's no doubt that this simulation has given me invaluable insights into how I can make a real impact on the environment while improving my company's bottom line.
