Using the table format below compose a behavior management plan

Core Components	Defined	Additional Information
Statement of Purpose	A brief, positive statement that conveys to educational professionals, parents, and students the reasons various aspects of the management plan are necessary.	The purpose of a well-planned BMP is so the teacher will have an organized way to manage behaviors to encourage students to act in a proper, civil, and responsible manner. Your CMP and BMP should work together seamlessly. A minimum of one reference required.
Rules (Maximum 5)	Clear statements of how the teacher expects students to behave in the classroom. General rules address numerous behavior concepts and expectations in broad terms.	Limit the number of rules to no more than 5; Examples should be given of general rules when teaching these expectations.
Procedures (Minimum 4)	A description of the steps you/students will take when behaviors occur. A thorough explanation with examples should be given for each.	A minimum of 2 sources must be used in the development of your procedures for managing behavior.
Strategies (Minimum 4)	A description of the strategies you/students will take when behaviors occur. A thorough explanation with examples should be given for each. Should incorporate a minimum of 2 SEL strategies.	A minimum of 4 sources must be used in the development of your strategies for managing behavior.
Consequences (Minimum 4 of both)	Actions teachers take to respond to both appropriate and inappropriate student behavior.	Leveled system of negative &positiveconsequences; Consequences should include steps to involve parent/guardians as needed.
Crisis	Explicit steps for obtaining immediate assistance for serious behavioral situations.	Must include a procedure for what you will do if you are in the room and one for students to do if you are not in the room.
BMP Action Plan	A well-thought-out timeline for putting the classroom behavior management plan into place. It includes what needs to be done, how it will be done, and when it will be accomplished.
