You represent a defendant who has pleaded not-guilty in a criminal matter concerning the stealing of two $500,000.00 Bentley motor vehicles. Your client told you he had nothing to do with the vehicle thefts and has instructed you to prepare a defence accordingly. Shortly before the trial you attend your client's rural property to get some urgent documents signed and inadvertently disturb him loading the two stolen $500,000.00 Bentley cars into a shipping container.
