Using your username and password login into ACC Linux server (cois-linux.austincc.edu)

EXERCISE 1:

Perform the following tasks in your smallFile file located in ~/lab5 directory:

Display lines for records of students with only Electrical Engineer major (EE)(do not include double major EECS students). What command did you use? Show your session.

Display number of records for students whose e-mail addresses end with abc.org. What command did you use? Show your session.

Display the records for the top five students by GPA that major is ECE (double major Electrical & Computer Engineering). Show your session.

EXERCISE 2:

Display the size of the file largeFile you have in ~/lab5

Compress largeFile with bzip2. Show your session.

What is the name of the compressed file? Show size of compressed file

Uncompress the compressed file. What command did you use? Show your session.

Signout and return your system to Windows.
