Using your workplace or work placement service, you are required create a Work in Progress (WIP) Action Plan (template below) which: 1. Lists the specific tasks you are required to complete in the next two weeks related to your practicum or workplace. 2. For each task, identify how it links to your centres goals (for example, you may have experiences to provide - this may link with your centres goal of providing meaningful experiences to young children or providing a holistic program). 3. Identify any constraints or barries to achieving designed goals. 4. Develop strategies which demonstrate how these tasks will be implemented using a participative leadership style, and how you will support the policies, procedures, and ethical guidelines of the service. 5. Develop and implement your plan in consultation with your director or authorised supervisor, using a participative leadership style and positive communication (this means you do a draft and then discuss it with them, set timeframes and make changes as required). 6. Share your plan with relevant staff in the service. 7. Use your plan during your work placement or at work to keep you on track and monitor your progress.
