The carousel can move in either direction at a constant speed of 15 m/min. The height of the carousel will be limited to 5 bins. The average time for a pick-and-deposit operation at the load/unload station is 30 seconds. Determine: (a) the required width of the one-carousel system (b) whether the system satisfies the required throughput rate of at least 125 transactions per hour. If yes, what is the system utilization rate? If no, please make suggestions to meet the requirement
