Visual Art Project: Stage Three Assignment Instructions

Overview:

the goal with this project is to create a work of art that communicates a particular idea. For Visual Art Project: Stage One Assignment, you've planned the details that will enable your artwork to communicate effectively to your specific target audience. For Visual Art Project: Stage Two Assignment, you chosen and made the piece of art you have planned. For the final stage, Visual Art Project: Stage Three Assignment, you will make final revisions to youre chosen artwork, and performing a paper explaining your process and the application of visual communication skills in you're chosen artwork.

Instructions

perform a document that explains your process, following the outline below, and present the final piece of art.

Follow the process below:

1. please perform a paper in current M L A format about your project. Your final artwork and images of the process need to be included in the paper. Follow the outline below for the paper. You will be using the information from your previous two submissions. This stage allows you to organize and present the information you already gathered and the art project you created, with revisions based on instructor feedback.

A. Introduction: Including an overview of youre chosen project stating the message/idea you're communicating, the target audience description, and what type of artwork you made.

B. Theories of Visual Communication:

Please Explain the Cognitive Approach Theory and how you planned your project considering the mental activities.

Please Explain the Semiotics theory and how you applied semiotics in the artwork. Describing what type of signs was used in your chosen artwork (iconic, indexical, symbolic).

please Explain the Gestalt theory and how you used Gestalt Principles in artwork.

C. Discuss how you used the elements of art and design (use the Visual Literacy vocabulary used in the textbook to describe color, shape, lines, texture, value, balance, unity, variety, etc.) in your artwork.

D. Please Explain and show process. Includlong thumbnails, sketches, and photos/screenshots of work in progress at various stages. These photos/screenshots need to be sharp, clear, and bright. In short, the photos should look polished and professional. There should be several thumbnails, at least one rough sketch, and a minimum of sevenphotos/screenshots that show your work in progress. There should be enough images that clearly show how you have made the piece in detail. Explain what tools, programs, and methods you used to create your work of art.

Present your finished work of art. Insert an image of your artwork into your document at 300 dpi resolution. If it is a photo of a physical piece of art, make sure you take the photo in good light. Edit the photo so there are no shadows and crop it so that only the artwork is in your image
