Walmart needs your company to develop a virtual appliance to prevent a degradation in the Quality of Service. They have detected that everytime that a Walmart Store launches a product on sale for a given weekend, and a given department of the store (example: Frozen Foods), hackers have bombarded that store with millions of on-line orders at the same time, to reduce the available stock of that product to zero in a matter of minutes. As there are hundreds of Walmart stores in the country, and you cannot immediately detect where the attacks are originated, the best decision is to implement:

a virtual firewall to filter traffic and regulate the amount of received online orders per unit of time.

a virtual private network to limit the origin of the online orders only to customers located in the same neighbordhood of the store.

a Load balancer to prevent many online orders to be originated from the same point at the same time.

a Secure Socket Layer accelerator on each store to authenticate and verify the identity of each customer that generates an online order during that weekend.
