Waste Management ASSIGNMENT GOAL: Gather benchmark data from external data sources that can be compared to baseline data. Provide clear and complete analysis between the baseline and benchmark data. ASSIGNMENT REQUIREMENTS: You will need to draw upon key baseline and benchmark data, along with your understanding of sustainability theory to write this submission (word.docx). This submission will (must) present and discuss the following: 1. Restatement of study topic, review of study to date and introduction of current section. What study is about and objectives. Reminder of what has been done so far (Previously On): Summary of the Baseline efforts and results. 2. Benchmark data Include details on the when, where and how the benchmark data was collected.. What is the data measurement scale being used? i.e., kg, km, kwh, etc. If data scale of benchmark data is not same as baseline, how will you make the scales equal. Were there differences in data gathered, either type or how, from the Study Proposal. Data sources need to be current, reflecting your activity and life. Show evidence of the data source, e.g., screenshots, photos, etc. 3. Provide a data table and chart which compares the baseline and benchmark data. This makes the topic selection more important, in that you need to be able to provide data that uses the same scale for baseline and benchmark. 4. Analysis of Behaviour Study. Needs to compare & contrast Baseline with Benchmark data gathered. What story is the benchmark data tell you? Description of your thoughts, conclusions or realizations about the benchmark data collected. In other words, what are the environmental or sustainability implications. Compare and analyze the baseline against the benchmark data. Provide a commentary on how these two sets compare (similarities or differences). Are you doing better or worse than the benchmark in your behaviour? In comparing the baseline (your behaviour) to the benchmark (other peoples behaviour) what story and conclusions do you draw from the comparison? 5. Connect baseline and benchmark results to the UN SDGs. Describe how your actions (living patterns and results as tracked in the baseline and compared to the benchmark) are helping or hindering the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development goal you selected. 6. Recommendations Develop 2 or 3 recommendations on how you can reduce your environmental footprint or sustainability efforts and work to achieving the UN SDG. These recommendations need to be detailed and explain how the achievement of the recommendation will help advance sustainability
