PowerPoint has been around for many years, children in grade school create presentations as well as business executives all with one thing in common -- to relay a message to the audience. You have completed the PowerPoint units in this class learning additional ways to create dynamic presentations. View this video that has some unorthodox suggestions on how to prepare better PowerPoint presentations. What can you take away from his suggestions that might be helpful/useful? Share your thoughts with your colleagues. Remember to reply to at least one colleague to receive full credit for this assignment.

Classmate Response= The most memorable part of this video was when he said "I am the presentation, the Powerpoint is just my visual aid." I never actually looked at PowerPoints in that way. I always knew to keep PowerPoints short, sweet, and to the point, but I never actually thought to myself, "Make yourself the presentation." I believe this video was extremely helpful when making PowerPoints because he made some very interesting points. I really liked how he played with the contrasts of what he was speaking about. Instead of making a list the same color, brighten the part you are speaking about, and then dim that point when you have moved on. Ever since graduating from high school, I have always kept the animations nonexistent, but I believe that this idea is amazing. The points he gave were very subtle, but I believe that they could make a great impact on someone's presentation.
