By researching the software most used we can ensure that the parts will run efficiently with the software. Some software requires more powerful parts. If you are researching a computer game, you may need a more powerful graphics card. If you are running Protools or Adobe Audition $($audio software$)$ you may need a more powerful sound card. If you are doing video editing and running Adobe Premiere you will need a ton of available hard drive space. All software has different requirements. Make sure you select the software that requires the most from your computer when you research parts.
