We are going to explore our implicit biases by taking an Implicit Association Test (IAT). The test is designed to "measure attitudes and beliefs that people may be unwilling or unable to report" (Project Implicit, n.d.). This is intended to be an educational exercise, and it is important not to overreact to the results of the test. The IAT is not a diagnostic test, but by taking it, you may become more conscious of implicit attitudes that you didn't know that you held

1. We will take the Gender Career Test, so select "Gender Career IAT" from the menu.

2 You will be asked several demographic questions. I recommend selecting "Decline to Answer" for each demographic question. You are only required to answer the question about your birth month and year, as you must be at least 18 years old to take the test.
