Part $2$ The Pitch In the second part of your presentation, you will act as consultants and $$pitch$$ the technology to VCC$.$ In doing so$,$ you will need to explain to VCC the strategic nature of the technology and how it can help improve VCC$.$ This can be one or any combination of VCC$$s activities, such as: $$ operations $$ strategy $$ revenue generation $$ revenue saving $$ marketing $$ safety You may want to focus on one specific department at VCC $($i$.$e$.$: human resources, student services, program delivery, finance, etc.$).$ It is important to not only suggest WHAT technology VCC should implement, but also WHY they should implement it$.$ In other words $$ why should VCC spend the money implementing the new technology? What problem are you suggesting needs to be solved? What problems will they have doing it$?$ Detail here is important. Think about all the effects, like: $$ Costs $($savings or investments $$ is there a break$-$even?$)$ Changes in people$$s jobs $($will there be resistance?$)$ Changes in user behaviours $$ Physical space needed $($VCC is cramped and out of space$)$ Risks of failure $$ Etc. You should spend about $2/3$ of the paper $$pitching$$ your idea to VCC$.$
