We discussed a study concerning stocks being added to the S\&P500 index. The study found that: Additions (deletions) to the Index tend to increase (decrease) a company's stock price Additions and deletions to the Index tend to result in no change to a company stock price Additions to the Index tend to decrease a company's stock price Additions (deletions) to the Index tend to decrease (increase) a company's stock price
